• I personally handle all client communications so you will always be able to reach me directly.

• I offer self-scheduled appointments, electronic payment options, and utilize a secure file-sharing portal when applicable.

• I do flat fee billing for estate planning in most circumstances. The fee covers all aspects of the planning, from the initial consultation to the final execution of documents. In circumstances where flat fee billing is not feasible, I will let you know what to expect ahead of time. Let me know if you are interested in e state planning and I will send you my fee schedule.

• I do flat fee billing for MassHealth Standard long-term care applications. The fee covers all aspects of the application process.

• For matters where I do hourly billing (probate and trust administration, sale of real estate, guardianship and conservatorship), I am transparent with clients about how I bill and what to expect in terms of total price range. I do not bill clients for short calls, emails, or text messages. I believe that keeping the lines of communication open is important and would not want a client to hesitate contacting me with questions or concerns in the fear that they will be “on the clock”. For the majority of matters where I do hourly billing, I do not collect a retainer for my fee. I do collect a retainer to cover major disbursements that I make on the client’s behalf (e.g., court filing and publication fees).

• I do home visits for those who are physically unable to come to my office, pending my availability. There will be an additional fee for a home visit depending on the location. I will let you know ahead of time what the fee is per visit.
